Full-Time Graduate Trainee Internal Sales Engineer

Salary c £22,000k to £24,000k

Linear Guidance Illumination (LGi) is part of the BDZ Holdings group of companies and has been at the forefront of electroluminescent lighting technology since 2004. Innovation and technical excellence has enabled LGi to design, develop and manufacture flexible illumination products that are now becoming the standard for safe route and danger area demarcation for numerous industries worldwide.

LGi are looking for a confident Graduate Trainee Internal Sales Engineer based both in our office in Newbury and out in the field. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to travel to clients in the UK and with the potential for international travel.

You will help maintain and administer existing accounts and build relationships with our customers offering pre & post technical sales support, marketing, product training & management and to assist in tenders and contract terms if required.

It would be beneficial for the candidate to be multilingual with the German language a priority. Ideally you would have gone through further education, with relevant qualifications at A-levels or degree. You should be proficient in Microsoft office suite, with experience using databases and be a confident presenter.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Maintaining contact with existing distributors
• Developing the existing distributor base
• Establishing relationships with new distributors
• Preparing reports for the weekly sales meeting
• Obtaining set sales targets
• Recording and maintaining client contact data on the company database
• Supporting the company by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Making technical sales presentations and demonstrating how our products will meet client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Liaising with other members of the company regarding issues
• Solving client problems
• Be a team player

We are looking for fun, creative and outgoing personalities to join our team on the restaurant floor. Our Waiters / Waitresses are passionate about delivering the highest levels of service, and work with the restaurant management team to ensure that this is always achieved.

Cooks For Lakeside Superbowl Diner

Due to our recent refurbishment and expansion of the business we are looking to recruit 5 new members of staff to work in our kitchen. Cooks will prepare and cook all meals and ensure the timely and smooth running of the kitchen.
We have 5 part-time roles available, shift patterns are below:

• Monday – Friday 17.30 – 22.30 (25 hours per week)
• Tuesday – Saturday 17.30 – 22.30 (25 hours per week)
• Saturday – Sunday 10.00 – 18.00 (16 hours per week)
• Saturday – Sunday 10.00 – 18.00 (16 hours per week)
• Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 17.30-22.30 (20 hours per week)

An up to date food hygiene certificate would be preferable, however training can be given. Experience within a similar role would be beneficial.

PIANO TEACHER WANTED

Hogan Academy is looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and fun Piano teacher to join our fast growing Academy based in Newbury, Berkshire. Applicants should have a good level of practical ability along with a sound knowledge of theory

What we are looking for:

• The ability to communicate with a variety of age groups is essential.
• The position is part-time (mainly evenings & weekends) with potential to grow
• We ask that you are able to commit to regular, weekly teaching times
• Motivated, punctual and professional teacher
• Happy to engage with students and students’ parents

Teachers work on a self-employed basis. You will need an enhanced DBS check for this role, so please be prepared to pay for one if you are successful in this position. For the right candidate we have a range of projects that you can become involved in: Events, Workshops, Courses, School Teaching, 1-1/ 2-1/ Class/ Group teaching etc.

Hogan Academy will administrate all student bookings and provide a comfortable teaching room with piano and necessary accessories allowing you to concentrate of teaching.
